Cate, who received this year's Lacoste Spotlight Award, turned heads in a black Versace Couture gown that hinted of the exotic thanks to its alligator skin print and a glittery diamond collar necklace. The 46-year-old Carol actress got creative as she attended the star-studded 18th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards sponsored by Lacoste in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. The gown fit tightly as though it had been painted on from bust to waist, and then dropped down to a slightly flaring hemline. The lovely gown revealed a cut-out in the back that showed off smooth white skin, and there was a leg-baring side split down the side of the gown. The Australian actress wore her blonde hair pulled back in a simple updo with long layers allowed to cascade around her cheeks.
